The whole contraption is comprised of 20 “Great Ball Contraption” modules and an incredible attention to detail. While it doesn’t actually end up performing a function by the end, it is truly stunning and insanely complex.
You should go and get a job… in which you use your fantastic skills of planning, production and timing.

I have built almost all of these in my Robotics class, but never together (mostly due to time/material shortage). Either way, I am impressed with the diversity and mere scale of this project. The line follower was one of the most impressive (seeing as mine would always wonder slightly on hard turns like that).

For those that ask why? To inspire young builders, architects, engineers, etc to try. And if that isn’t enough… you have gotten to old and now a fuddy-duddy.
Great fun to watch, thanks for sharing!
